CPD: Writing for Publication (Edge Hill University)

1 day writing for publication workshop being run at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk, UK (face to face only) by two professors – date Tuesday 17th October.

Are you a Health Care Professional?

Would you like to publish your work but do not know where to start or have you had problems getting your work published? 

This one-day masterclass will take you through the publishing process from start to finish, providing useful tips to maximise your chances of getting your paper published.

Facilitated by two active researchers and Journal Editors this course will cover:

  • The key factors in writing for publication

  • Choosing the right journal 

  • Writing different types of papers: reviews, research, service evaluation and QI, protocols

  • Top tips for getting your paper published and avoiding common pitfalls

  • Dealing with reviewers’ feedback and responding to reviewers

Ideally, you will be working on a existing project/study and by the end of the masterclass you will have a near finished paper ready to submit to a journal along with a plan for submission.
